Horbury Primary Academy are seeking to appoint a permanent Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant. The aim of this role is to supervise the pupils during the lunchtime period to ensure their welfare and safety are paramount, and that good conduct is maintained at all times. You will be required to have the ability to use your own initiative when responding to the needs of the pupils and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills. Full training will be provided, and a period of shadowing trained staff will be in place to ensure full confidence in all duties for the successful applicant.

The working pattern for this role is Monday to Friday, 12.00 pm to 1.15 pm (6.25 hours per week | Term-time only).

Horbury Primary Academy is a mixed nursery, infant and junior academy, situated on the outskirts of Wakefield.

The academy has a broad, balanced and creative curriculum which aims to ensure that children are engaged in their learning and above all enjoy coming to school. It benefits from enthusiastic, caring and professional staff who work hard to ensure this happens.
