Quarry Bay School is a four-form entry school with approximately 720 students.

Mainscale Class Teacher (Age 5-11)

Responsibilities

Quarry Bay School is seeking to appoint a Mainscale Class Teacher. The position will be a full-time two years renewable contract starting August 2017.

We are looking for dynamic class teachers to work in the collaborative environment that is nurtured at QBS. Mainscale teachers must be well-qualified and enthusiastic classroom practitioners who are confident within the primary years. In addition we seek candidates who are child-centred and have a commitment to inclusion for all. Mainscale teachers must be:

• outstanding in their classroom practice;

• demonstrate excellent classroom management; 

• demonstrate a commitment to developing high standards; and

• able to develop great relationships with the children, their families and colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Education, or

• Bachelor Degree in any subjects with PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate of Education), or equivalent

• 1-3 years teaching experience within a recognised educational organisation
