We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant to work as part of our Support Services Team at Troup House School. The role will involve working as part of a team engaged in protective and planned maintenance of the school premises.

The quality and appearance of our school creates the first impression for our Children and their families and our Maintenance Team take huge pride in maintaining our buildings to the highest possible standards. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will have the opportunity to contribute to this by working hard to maintain the fixtures and fittings of our buildings.

As well as undertaking regular inspections of buildings, equipment, fixtures and fittings, you will also carry out the completion of routine and unplanned maintenance operations, ensuring minimal disruption to the service and compliance with operational standards and statutory regulations.

Job Share and Part Time considered

Troup House School is a specialist day and residential school for up to twelve young people aged 8 to 16 with emotional and social difficulties including autistic spectrum disorders and challenging behaviour.

As the development of our service continues into 2019 so do the opportunities for you to contribute to the care and education of Looked After Children in Scotland within a School Care Accommodation service.

Troup House School is a specialist day and residential school that has a strong reputation and proven record of accomplishment for providing a high standard of education and care to young people between the ages of 8 to 16+ years with additional support needs including social, emotional and mental health difficulties, autistic spectrum conditions and challenging behaviour.
