Maintenance Assistant

Quay View School is recruiting a Maintenance Assistant to join our dedicated maintenance team.

We’re looking for a passionate and skilled handyperson with a keen interest in maintenance, DIY and facilities upkeep. In this role, you’ll be responsible for addressing day-to-day reactive maintenance issues across the school site and grounds, helping to ensure a safe and well-maintained environment for our students and staff.

You’ll also raise jobs, arrange maintenance of equipment and vehicles, liaise with contractors on and off-site and respond to ad-hoc requests from management as needed. The role includes both planned and reactive maintenance tasks, contributing to the smooth operation of our facilities.

Tor View School is a very special school that enables young people with with Autism, trauma related interruptions, communication needs and learning difficulties to access an appropriate curriculum in a wonderful environment in the heart of Devon.
