An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Maintenance Team at Lingfield College.
We are currently recruiting to the role of Maintenance Assistant to be part of a friendly and approachable team. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, staff and visitors whilst helping to ensure the school facilities remain in excellent repair and are presented to the highest standard.
Day to day tasks include assisting with the maintenance, upkeep and refurbishment of the school site, as well as carrying out porterage duties such as setting up of assemblies, parents’ evenings, open mornings, prize giving and various sporting fixtures. Working in a team, you will also be involved in cleaning, routine testing and security tasks through the week.
The ideal candidate will have experience of site maintenance and understand safe working practices. Strong communication skills when working as part of a team and a positive attitude to work is essential. Experience of working in a school environment would be an advantage but is not vital.
The post is offered on a full time basis with weekend working, to start in May 2025.
