Good Shepherd Primary School is a Kindergarten to Year 6 Catholic co-educational school, which currently caters for 746 students.

About the Role

As the Grounds and Maintenance Officer, you will undertake the maintenance of the grounds and school buildings. To be successful in this role, you will be familiar with and comply with the school’s mission and vision of Catholic Education. The key task is to keep the school looking tidy, clean and presentable.

Essential Criteria

  • A commitment to Catholic education and the promotion of the mission of the Catholic Church.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills including the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and use initiative.
  • Ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively and flexibly
  • A willingness to undertake any certified training
  • Ability to operate and maintain gardening and maintenance machinery and equipment in accordance with OHS expectations and guidelines.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills including an ability to relate to all levels of the school community, including management, staff, students and visitors.
  • Maintenance skills and experience that would enable the completion of minor maintenance projects.
