Salary/Grade: Grade D scale pt 8 - 14 , £20,493 - £23,080 (fte per annum)

Actual Salary:         £13,808 - £15,551 per annum

Annual Hours:        1300 hours per annum

Working week:        25 hours per week  x 52 weeks per year. 

Normal working hours 2pm to 7pm Monday to Friday but some flexibility is necessary - this will involve working full time hours during school holidays to allow for maintenance work to be undertaken outside of term time

We are looking to appoint a maintenance person to work within the site and facilities team. The role will mainly be based at Montpelier Primary School but will also involve working at other schools within the trust including Stoke Damerel Community College and Scott Medical and Healthcare College.

 The role includes:

● Maintaining the learning and working environment across the schools estate.

● Carry out responsive and planned maintenance works.

● Play a key role in ensuring that all services and utilities are functional across the schools.

● Assist in ensuring that all Health and Safety regulations are complied with.

● Moving furniture and equipment as required.

● Make areas safe after adverse weather conditions.

● Assist in ensuring the adequate security of buildings at all times.
