Being a maintenance worker in our school means being part of something big. You’ll be doing your bit to make sure the school building is a great place to be for our young people.

Get out what you put in

You’ll do all the general, day-to-day repairs needed to keep our school up and running, drive the school vehicles and keep them in good working order, as well as making sure the school grounds and garden are kept neat and tidy. You’ll also be a familiar, friendly face, this means our young people will sometimes stop to chat to you so we’ll give you some training on child safeguarding to give you that extra confidence!

Luxborough Court School is a brand new, purpose built school registered for 150 ASD students aged 5-19. We have a bespoke Post 16 suite with a number of smaller spaces throughout the school used for therapeutic support and bespoke intervention. Luxborough Court School benefits from extensive outdoor space with a large sensory garden courtyard in the centre of the school with separate Primary and Secondary play areas and a multi-use games area. As a member of staff working within the Witherslack Group, you will get the support you need to succeed! Your colleagues will be the best at what they do and the school environment is well-resourced. Everyone at Luxborough Court School is fulfilled by the idea of celebrating each moment of success which is significant for the individual ASD child.  Can you join us and be part of our incredible team in a brand new school! You will not hear ‘We have always done it that way.’
