Part time: 35 hours per week term time only, to work Monday to Friday

Hours: 8.30am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday (with half an hour lunch break)

Full time equivalent salary range: £20,444 - £23,484 per annum

Actual salary range for working 35 hours per week term time only: £16,060 - £18,448 per annum

* Our need for a male in this role is an occupational requirement under paragraph.1 of schedule 9 of the Equality Act

2010 because there is a requirement to provide personal care to a male student as part of the role.

The post holder will be responsible to our SENDCO. We are looking for someone who has succeeded in a similar role

who can:

 undertake hoist training and manual handling training;

 support the personal needs of male students including toileting and dressing and undressing;

 support students during school break times (you will be entitled to a half hour lunch break each day)

 assist the SENDCO in the support of children with special educational needs;

 offer in-class support to individuals or groups of children in the classroom under the supervision of the

classroom teacher;

 work with identified children individually outside of the classroom as appropriate;

 maintain records on student progress and input relevant information into computer records.
