The College is seeking to recruit a full time Management Accountant to support and oversee key aspects of the Finance Function. The post holder will report to the Head of Finance and will also be a line manger to a number of finance colleagues.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, committed and have excellent attention to detail. Experience in a similar role is essential. Key duties are as follows but not limited to:

  • Ensure that all assets and liabilities of the College are accounted for on an accurate and timely basis and all statutory and monthly reporting is carried out to deadlines set.
  • Provide timely and accurate information for the senior leadership team as and when requested.
  • To work with the Head of Finance to maintain, develop and improve financial accounting and financial management systems and information.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasting and internal budget management.
  • Support the year end processes and audit
  • Lead on the financial support for Externally funded projects
  • Line Manage and develop Financial Colleague(s) and support the Payroll and Pensions process.
  • To deputise for the Head of Finance as necessary
