Teaching GCSE Mandarin to small groups of students who have opted for the language as an additional GCSE after school hours. Working 0.20 FTE / 5 hours a week (three 1 ½ hour classes a week and one hour PPA a fortnight). Sessions run from 3.15pm to 4.45pm three times a week, delivering twice to Year 11 students in preparation for the GCSE exam, and once a week to a Year 9 Beginners class. We currently have five students in our Year 11 class and approximately nine starting the language in Year 9. Experience of teaching mandarin and preparing students for GCSE is essential. Salary according to qualification and/or experience.
