Job overview

We are seeking an experienced, creative and highly motivated individual to join our existing team to implement the School’s marketing and communications strategy. 

Working closely with the Director of Development, the successful applicant will manage the School’s media profile, building positive brand awareness and developing strong, effective relationships with key publications and on-line platforms. They will engage with key stakeholders within the School to co-ordinate and deliver the School’s programme of engagement activities with feeder schools and will be responsible for the production of the School’s suite of publications in print and digital. 

Applicants may come from a Marketing or Journalistic background and ideally will have some experience of the Independent School Sector. They will be able to deliver high quality written content and be skilled relationship builders. They will have demonstrable experience of creating and delivering marketing strategies and confident to deliver those to senior stakeholders. They will have excellent analysis skills, be an experienced team manager and strong team player. Salary will be dependent on experience. 

Mayfield is a leading independent Catholic boarding and day school for 400 girls aged 11-18 years, set in 75 acres of beautiful Sussex countryside, less than 50 miles from London, 40 minutes from Gatwick and 15 minutes from the charming historic town of Tunbridge Wells.
