About the role

We are seeking a Trust ‘Marketing and Communications Manager’ who can provide high-quality strategic Marketing and Communications support to the Trust and across our schools in this new and exciting post. The Marketing and Communications Manager will need to be flexible and play a key role both delivering the Trusts Marketing and communication strategies together with supporting the schools with the delivery of their marketing and communications plans. Whether you are writing press releases, dealing with correspondence, responding to stakeholders or delivering events, you will impress us with your ability to multi-task and thrive under pressure. Updating the Trust website/ social media accounts, branding, design and events activities - are all elements of this interesting and varied ro

Educated to degree level or with equivalent experience, you will need to have strong interpersonal and communications skills, excellent ICT skills and experience running social media channels and websites and supporting organisational growth/change. Above all you are adaptable, creative and energetic, with a high level of integrity as well as the ability build positive relationships at all levels.

SEARCH Education Trust was established in May 2013 as Heartlands Community Trust when Heartlands High School converted into an academy. In July 2021 we adopted SEARCH Education Trust as our name, and developed our vision and principles which celebrate our origins whilst opening up a shared space for other schools or Trusts to join us in co-creating a bright and supportive future together in the contemporary educational landscape where all schools are being encouraged to join

together in the pursuit of excellence. The Trust has two schools - Heartlands High School is oversubscribed and a first-choice school for parents and students in the local community. Our intake is diverse and is a real reflection of the community that we serve. The Grove School, a very successful all through academy, which caters for the needs of learners with autism and maintains strong links with mainstream provision in the Trust.
