Job overview

Marketing and Communications Officer

The role of Marketing and Communications Officer provides an exciting opportunity to work across the full marketing, PR and communications mix.

Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager (to be recruited), the role will support marketing, PR and communications activities at both KES and KEHS, and the post-holder will need a flair for producing engaging content across a variety of platforms, from punchy social media posts to longer pieces for newsletters. Filming and editing inhouse videos and taking photographs will be part of the role, alongside producing written content.

As well as supporting the schools’ day-to-day marketing, PR and communications activities, there will be an opportunity to support alumni communications with Old Edwardians.

Working as part of a small but very busy team, the post-holder will need to be comfortable working independently and switching between different tasks as needs arise in the dynamic environment of a school. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a creative flair and exemplary attention to detail are a must, as is the ability to form strong relationships with colleagues across both schools.

This wide-ranging role provides an excellent opportunity for someone with some prior marketing, PR or communications experience to broaden their remit. The role is a full-time, permanent position, but a term-time only role would be considered for the right candidate.

The post-holder will be joining us at an exciting time, when the Marketing and Communications team will be blended across both schools.
