We are seeking applications for the following School Support Officer role at a school located in Sydney’s North Shore. This reputable Catholic Independent school prides itself on having a safe and well organised learning environment to ensure students achieve their potential.
About the Role:
• Responsible for effective communication within the school through the development of the school newsletter and social media, and supporting the administration team
• Casual/temporary role commencing Term 1, 2021
• Working five days a week, however, flexible for the right candidate
• Not required to work during school holidays
Selection Criteria:
• Possess a high level of computer literacy and the ability to manage digital communication projects
• Have experience working in a team, multi-task and take initiative
• Have high work ethic, good attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication skills
• Have flexibility with a high degree of motivation for the role
• The ideal candidate would have proficiency in preparing creative application using a range of software and web-based application including google suite and Adobe Creative (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop etc)
• Have the ability to gain a Working With Children Check
• Having a demonstrated commitment to the Catholic Faith is desirable
• Have the right to work in Australia
