Job overview
The Marketing and PR Assistant is a key member of the school’s Marketing team integral to the school’s marketing and admissions operations across the whole school. The post holder will be line managed by the Marketing Manager and work across all areas of marketing, digital marketing, PR and events.
You will need to be experienced, creative and energetic enough to provide an efficient delivery of services to build on West Buckland’s current success. A sound understanding of marketing principles and best practice are a requirement. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are important, with a ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team, and on your own initiative, are essential.
Empathetic and knowledgeable, consideration of target audiences and dynamics of the independent school market place are very important as well as an understanding of the principles of the West Buckland environment. You will be very much hands-on, and will have the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with diverse groups of people, including staff, parents, pupils, prospective parents and feeder schools to get the best out of them.
