Job overview
This is a rare opportunity to lead the Marketing and Communications team in a well-established international school in London with high standards of teaching and learning and excellent opportunities for professional development.
Dwight School London is an IB World School offering the Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma programmes. The Dwight School community has a rich diversity of cultures, nationalities and experiences, with over 50 nationalities represented and over 40 languages spoken. We are a small, friendly and supportive community with high aspirations for our students, and high expectations of our staff.
Reporting to the Head of School, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for producing key promotional and reporting materials in print and online, alongside overseeing the general day-to-day marketing activities for Dwight School London. This post requires an experienced marketing professional to manage brand; design and print; website and social media; plus support the delivery of marketing, communications and alumni campaigns for the school. Experience in an international school and an understanding of the transition and mobility issues faced by internationally mobile families would be a distinct advantage. The post holder will also be responsible for the line-management of the Marketing Officer and the Alumni and Events Manager.
Dwight School London is a values driven organisation and the successful candidate will have to demonstrate an understanding of and a commitment to the values of the IB learner profile.
In return you will have opportunities for professional development, the support of a resourceful, forward looking and dedicated line-manager, friendly and helpful colleagues, a supportive parent body and all the advantages of a vibrant, diverse and welcoming international community.
In your cover letter of no more than two A4 pages outline how your skills and experience meet the job description and person specification found in the candidate pack. The deadline for applications is Monday, 8th April 2019, but early applications are encouraged as we may appoint before the deadline if the right candidate is found.
