Maternity Cover PE

(with potential pastoral responsibilities)

Salary: MPS

Start date: April 2023

Closing date: 9th February 2023

At All Saints we are always looking to grow great people. This role would suit someone who was committed to excellence within Physical Education, but is considering taking on a pastoral role in the near future. Unlike most maternities, this role will run for 18 months, ensuring you have time with the colleague to learn the role and provide you with the very best chances of success. We are ideally looking for a female candidate for this post.

Our PE department boast strong outcomes and a history of promotion to leadership positions, both internally and externally. You will be coached fortnightly on your teaching and also have access to our deliberate practice sessions. If you are in your early careers stages, you would also have access to our ECT programme, which has been externally recognised as being one of the strongest in the South West.

However, if you are an experienced member of staff, you would have access to Trust wide CPD programmes designed to help you network across one of the most successful South West based Trusts.

For the right candidate, we would consider a maternity cover role without additional responsibility – it is about growing you at whatever career stage you are.

We ask all candidates to live our values of ‘love’, ‘bravery’ and ‘legacy’ and have a deep rooted commitment to social justice.

Further details and an application form can be downloaded from the school website - http://asap.org.uk/vacancies/

The Ted Wragg Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and operate in accordance with the Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy. We are part of the Ted Wragg Trust, an ambitious and inclusive trust of schools strengthening our communities through excellent education.
