We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Maths teacher to join us as we open our new school - Oak Bridge School, opening to students in September 2026.

Part of the Spaghetti Bridge Group, Oak Bridge will support students who experience barriers to learning through our unique three-stage curriculum, designed to develop 21st century skills and a lifelong love of learning. Oak Bridge School is set within the beautiful surroundings of Lloyd Park, just outside of Croydon. This is an extensive campus currently being refurbished in line with our Beautiful Schools philosophy. About the role

.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Maths Lead who is open to developing a modern approach to teaching pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and passionate Mathematics practitioner who is committed to developing numeracy and mathematical confidence within a progressive and innovative curriculum.

The Maths Lead will primarily teach students within the third phase of our curriculum, Community Ready, including those following accredited pathways. The successful candidate will therefore need to be confident delivering Mathematics up to GCSE level as a minimum.

Alongside teaching, the Maths Lead will have oversight of the Maths curriculum across the whole school, developing subject-specific plans and resources and supporting the quality assurance of teaching and learning.

A key part of the role will involve supporting colleagues to deliver Maths through our project-based curriculum, Enterprise Learning, helping to embed numeracy across a range of learning experiences.

This role offers excellent opportunities for professional development, including cross-group collaboration and the chance to contribute to our research-focused work. You will also play an important part in establishing the Spaghetti Bridge curriculum within our brand-new school.

  • A creative and curious approach to teaching and learning.

  • A professional, reflective and process-driven approach to your work.

  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and an understanding of effective curriculum delivery.
