Established in 1982, El Alsson is a co-educational school with 1,450 pupils aged 3-18 (Foundation Stage to A-Level).

The school is on a 7-acre green site near to the Great Pyramids of Giza. Under British management, we are recognised as one of the best international schools in Cairo, and are accredited by the BSME (British Schools in the Middle East) and the DfE as a 'British School Overseas', one of only 25 such schools in the world. The school is well staffed and resourced, achieves exceptional GCSE and GCE results, and has a well-developed, successful Sixth Form.

We offer contracts of 2 years (renewable) for single teachers or teaching couples, competitive salary including annual return flight, medical cover, shipping allowance, settling-in allowance, accommodation allowance, free school transport, plus 14 weeks paid holiday per annum.

Successful applicants will be enthusiastic, qualified teachers (B.Ed/PGCE/QTS) with a minimum of 3 years teaching experience of the National Curriculum for England.
