Job overview

Mathematics - Cluster Lead Teacher for Raising Attainment (north-west)

Renumeration L10 £49198, part time (0.6) or full time, permanent position available.

We are seeking an outstanding practitioner to be our north west Cluster Lead Mathematics Teacher to work across our four schools and to support our mathematics departmental leads and mathematics teachers in improving outcomes for our students at every key stage.

A full time appointment would include an additional 0.4 teaching commitment in any one of our schoools.

Two of our schoools, Darwen Aldridge Enterprise Studio and Darwen Aldridge Community Academy are both graded as good schools by Ofsted.  Our two other schools, Darwen Vale High School and Sudell Primary School are now in scope for Ofsted inspection after becoming Academies.  We have the right staff and excellent departmental/subject leaders in each school, and we now need a dedicated, flexible and dynamic Lead Teacher to ensure that a collaborative approach across our schools and between our staff secures improved outcomes across our cluster, starting with further improved results in 2018.

If you think you have what it takes to secure improvements across a group of schools, bringing the best out of staff and students, then we would like to hear from you.

Application forms, job description and further details are available from Val Townsend on 01254 819500 or email val.townsend@aldridgeeducation.org
