CBC St Kilda is an all boys Catholic secondary school in the Edmund Rice tradition with campuses in Westbury St, St Kilda East, and Carlisle St, Balaclava.

We require outstanding educators who are committed to authentic leadership and exceptional contemporary teaching and learning practices for boys.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children. They must also be able to demonstrate enthusiasm, the ability to deliver the appropriate curriculum to a range of educational abilities, and be able to provide care and support for students whilst supporting and respecting the ethos of the College.

Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School would be desirable, and the ability to teach Mathematics to VCE level is preferred.

About St Mary’s College - Edmund Rice Campus

Christian Brothers College is an independent secondary school for boys based in Victoria in Australia. It is a Roman Catholic school.

The College has four science laboratories, a major Music Centre with an outdoor concert stage and a three storey Creative Arts Centre which is used for design technology, art, ceramics, and visual communication and design. The school also boasts a 25-metre heated indoor swimming pool, which is used as part of its Health and Physical Education programme. It also has a gym and fitness area that is accessed by students and that is available outside of school hours for use by members of the public. Other facilities include a drama theatre, two basketball courts, two cricket nets and a chapel. Furthermore, the school’s board is currently undertaking work on a “College Facilities Master Plan” which involves considerable modernisation of the existing school site and the addition of facilities to further enhance the learning experiences of students.
