SS John Fisher and Thomas More Catholic Primary School wish to appoint an experienced KS2 teacher with a Good/Outstanding record and who will be supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school, to lead and develop Mathematics in our popular, caring and supportive school. The school is part of the Wythenshawe Catholic Academy Trust.

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Has high expectations for the achievement of all our pupils and can promote the continuing development of Maths teaching across the school.
  • Can add to and develop further the school’s action plan for Mathematics
  • Can support teachers in further implementing the new Mathematics curriculum including its assessment, and monitor and evaluate this alongside SLT in order to plan and drive forward improvement.
  • Can provide strong leadership in Mathematics from EYFS to KS2 and support colleagues to provide high quality teaching and learning.
  • Will be fully supportive of the vision and ethos of our school.
