King’s School The Crown is the only school in the region to offer an integrated Early Learning School, providing education for students from 0 months to 18 years all on one campus.

A FOCUS ON ACADEMICS

EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) - 0 months - 5 Years

Pupils in the Early Years are given the best possible start to their education with a curriculum derived from the UK and the Early Years Foundation Stage with a teaching ethos inspired by Reggio Emilio in Italy. At its heart is an experiential learning journey that prepares pupils’ bodies and minds as they move into our Primary school. As part of a 'through-school', the youngest pupils in the school have access to the full range of facilities, including play space, swimming pools, sports hall and more.

Primary School – Reception to Year 6

The Primary School is a vibrant, lively community,  with a broad curriculum where children are given space, countless opportunities and support to grow in confidence and discover their individual talents.  A supportive teaching and learning environment,  and a commitment to academic, creative, cultural, and sporting excellence will enable a momentum to succeed. Form tutors are supported by subject specialist teachers and support staff who, together,  bring a wealth of experience and diverse talents to the Primary School. Developing confidence is also of central importance to the community and children will be encouraged to explore and represent the core values of the school.

Senior School – Year 7 to 13

The Senior School provides a dynamic, flexible curriculum with a rigorous academic, creative and sporting education that aims to challenge and engage, offering a secure foundation on which to continue into higher education and beyond.  Students will progress through international GCSE  and A-level programmes. The wider curriculum helps develop lifelong skills in building and maintaining relationships; leadership skills; oratory and presentation competencies; and preparation for independence in adult life. This vital approach  values these developing competencies in young  people, as well as the mental health and well-being of each student
