We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Teacher of Mathematics with excellent communication skills to teach throughout the age and ability ranges. An enthusiastic, committed and forward looking NQT or experienced teacher is required who can contribute to the growth of this important subject area. Full-time requirement, but consideration will be given to part-time applicants. Initially appointment will be on a fixed term contract until the end of the summer term, when requirements will be reviewed.
Applicants will need to demonstrate the ability to accept new ideas and a thorough commitment to student learning. The successful candidate should have a degree in a relevant subject and be able to teach Mathematics in Year 9 through to A level. A commitment to contribute fully to the extra-curricular life of this busy, seven day a week boarding school would be an advantage. Salary is according to Milton Abbey’s own scale and will depend upon qualifications and experience.
We offer a genuinely different learning experience to our students, with the widest range of vocational courses in the independent sector, and a focus on the development of the whole person, not just examination results. More than half of our students have identified learning challenges and we promote opportunities for them to ‘learn differently’ and successfully here.
Further details may be obtained from our website or from HR on 01258 880484 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Applications must be submitted on the School’s application form. The closing date for applications is noon on Friday 14th May 2021.
