Mathematics Teacher

Ateres Girls’ High School is seeking to appoint an inspiring and dynamic part-time (0.7) Mathematics teacher to assist us with achieving excellence at KS3 and KS4 Maths in our over-subscribed independent faith school.

The ideal start time for this role is January 2017.

Ateres Girls’ High School was founded in 2011 and caters for girls aged 11-16 from the Orthodox Jewish community of Gateshead. The school prides itself on having staff from a wide range of backgrounds.

The person appointed will have excellent subject knowledge and will possess an outstanding ability to maintain classroom discipline through dynamic and inspirational teaching. You will be required to demonstrate outstanding skills at differentiation as some of our Maths classes are of mixed ability. Experience of teaching KS3 and KS4 Maths is a requirement. In addition, it is a requirement that you should be able to teach without ICT support as a number of our classrooms are not equipped with computing resources.
