Values and Vision

UWC-li Po Chun United World College aims to give an outstanding education to students from all around the world. It does not discriminate against the child’s background or religion. It teaches people to be tolerant and show kindness towards others. There are activities outside of school hours to help the students develop personal, social and moral skills, not just academic knowledge. The EOTC programme allows children to learn by interacting and doing things, rather than just listening and reading. The hope is for the students to develop leadership skills and learn to take difficult tasks and turn them into something good. The pupils are encouraged to take part in extra-curricular activities. This includes climbing, hiking, camping and kayaking. Drama and arts clubs are also available. Pupils should take advantage of every opportunity that comes their way. The school holds cultural nights to help students learn and value everyone in the global, and local, community.
