We are looking for an enthusiastic and versatile mathematics teacher to join a thriving and forward-thinking department. A modern and constructivist approach to teaching and learning is essential. We would welcome applications from all suitably-experienced and qualified candidates.
We expect candidates to demonstrate
- The ability to plan and deliver consistently high-quality lessons to students aged 11-18;

We are an innovative school (the first in Peru to deliver the IB Diploma Programme) with outstanding facilities and a world class reputation. We are located on a beautiful 11-hectare campus and we own a study centre in the Amazon Rainforest. As well as a broad range of academic subjects, we offer an extensive extracurricular programme and the appointee will be expected to contribute to this.
For this post we offer an initial 2-year contract and a very competitive remuneration package: an annual gross salary in American dollars, flights every two years, baggage and settling-in allowance, tuition fees remission for school age children, 50% of cover of private medical insurance for appointee and family, an allowance for Spanish lessons and excellent professional development opportunities.
In our last school review, conducted by the IB and LAHC in 2014, two of our most significant whole school commendations were the “outstanding dedication of teachers” and the “excellent attitude of students”.
