Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum

  • Plan and implement differentiated lessons to meet a range of learning needs

  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress effectively

  • Prepare students for IGCSE examinations

  • Create a positive, well-managed, and inclusive classroom environment

  • Contribute to curriculum development within the department

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents

  • Support the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and pastoral engagement

 

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, BEd or equivalent)

  • A degree in Mathematics or a related field

  • Experience teaching the English National Curriculum at KS3–KS5

  • A strong understanding of assessment for learning and data tracking

  • High expectations of student achievement and behaviour

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • A clear commitment to safeguarding and child protection
