Poltair School is looking for two enthusiastic and passionate Mathematics teachers who believe that all students are capable of success. Poltair is a welcoming, vibrant and fulfilling place to work. We pride ourselves on our strong values, supporting and encouraging students to embrace their learning and attain increasingly high standards of achievement through high quality inspirational teaching. The Mathematics team consists of experienced and new teachers who work exceptionally well together and who embrace new initiatives to ensure all pupils make the very best progress. The successful candidate will: 

• Have very high expectations of all students at all times 

• Be able to enthuse and motivate all students 

• Ensure the consistent delivery of good achievement and progress for all pupils 

• Be an excellent team player with a strong commitment to professional development and raising standards 

• Be able to teach typically good or better Mathematics lesson to students in Years 7-11

A suitable candidate requiring subject enhancement would be supported to gain the qualifications to effectively teach Mathematics. We would also consider applications from excellent teachers wishing to work part time.
