Saint Felix School are currently looking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and well qualified teacher of Mathematics.
Saint Felix School is an independent co-educational day and boarding school for children aged from 2 – 18, located close to the glorious seaside town of Southwold on the Suffolk coast. Our aim is to develop well-rounded students with the skills and the personality to make a success of their lives during and after their school years.
At Saint Felix School you will join our successful Mathematics department and contribute to its excellent results at all levels. You will be teaching across the whole school from Year 7 to Year 11, you will be teaching all ability ranges. As a Mathematics Teacher you will be part of a very strong department and will work closely in departmental development. You will work closely with the Head of Mathematics.
Within the Mathematics department pupils in years 7, 8 and 9 are taught in ability groups and follow the OCR Mathematics GCSE B syllabus in preparation for Year 10 and Year 11 where a majority of our pupils will sit the Higher Paper of the OCR specification. The school also offer Mathematics at A Level with pupils able to study Mathematics or Further Mathematics.
Mathematics teachers with experience and those starting their career are welcomed to apply. We would also like Mathematics teachers looking for their first step into Independent School teaching to apply.
This is a permanent full time teaching position however we would also welcome applications from those looking for part time teaching roles. For staff applying who are available we would also offer he opportunity to take on boarding duties. This would allow you to fully immerse yourself into Saint Felix life, you would also be provided with on-site accommodation and board.

Saint Felix, Southwold has been providing educational excellence for 120 years. A co-educational independent school for boarders and day pupils from the ages of 2 to 18.
Boarding at Saint Felix caters for full, weekly and flexi-boarders between the ages of 9-18 in three boarding houses situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Suffolk coast.
