Mathematics Teacher

The British International School Houston is looking to appoint an outstanding Mathematics teacher to inspire, challenge and support our students.

The British International School Houston is a successful, growing school with a highly committed and motivated team of teaching professionals at its heart.  Our close knit and supportive team is proud of our school and community, educating 830 young people of 54 nationalities each year. Last year our IB students achieved an average point score of 37 and the IGCSE students achieved 95% A - C including Maths and English. Each year, a high proportion of our students are accepted into top universities around the world.

To deliver our high standard of educational excellence, our teachers are experienced, confident, well organised, have a good sense of humour and participate fully in all aspects of school life within and beyond the classroom.  We are now looking for a like-minded Mathematics teacher to join our team.

As a qualified teaching professional you will be able to demonstrate a commitment to a modern, inquiry-based, student-centred approach to education that inspires and engages students. You will have experience of using technology in your classroom to enhance and transform personalised learning. You will be experienced in the latest assessment methods and preferably, have experience of delivering the IB Diploma and other modern international curricula.
