Up to 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year (both full time and part time hours are available, preferences will be discussed at interview).
We are looking to recruit Trainers to support the Maths and English students to achieve their full potential in these subjects. The role will suit an innovative and creative individual who is up to date with current Maths and English qualifications at level one and level two.
The role will include instructing, assessing and supervising students, who are studying Maths and English, on a one to one basis or small groups. There may also be the opportunity to visit employers to support apprentices in the workplace. Knowledge of safeguarding legislation and practices is essential and prior experience of working within a further education college would be advantageous. Our aim is to change lives through learning and therefore a flexible approach to supporting individual students is a necessity.
We are looking for a team member who is not only passionate about maths and English but also dedicated to supporting learners to achieve their maths and English qualifications to facilitate their development into employment.
You will have experience of delivering maths and English at level two or below, have a PGCE and have, or be willing to work towards, a level three coaching qualification.
