We are in search of an enthusiastic Mathematics Instructor who is not only passionate about mathematics but also has a genuine interest in working with young minds. This position is ideal for a recent graduate who is considering a career in teaching and wants to make a positive impact on the lives of students by instilling a love for mathematics. 

Sir Harry Smith Community College is dedicated to fostering academic excellence and a love for learning among our students. We are currently seeking a passionate Mathematics Instructor to join our team and contribute to the vibrant learning environment we offer. 

 The successful candidates will have: 

       Responsibilities

·       Develop and deliver engaging mathematics lessons that align with curriculum standards. 

·       Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking. 

·       Inspire students to appreciate the beauty and practical applications of mathematics. 

·       Collaborate with fellow educators at Sir Harry Smith Community College to integrate real-world examples and interdisciplinary approaches into the curriculum. 

·       Employ innovative teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles. 

·       Provide constructive feedback to students and actively support their academic growth. 

·       Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills. 

      Qualifications

·       Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field. 

·       Genuine passion for mathematics and a desire to share that passion with students. 

·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

·       Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. 

·       Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a collaborative teaching culture. 

·       Open to continuous learning and professional development. 

Preferred Qualifications

·       Teaching certification or coursework in education. 

·       Experience working with young people in a teaching or mentoring capacity. 

·       Familiarity with modern teaching technologies and methodologies. 

·       Ambition to pursue a career in teaching.
