The Ellesmere Port Church of England College is a secondary school with an ethos based on Anglican beliefs where we welcome students from all faiths.

We are a part of the Frank Field Education Trust and work collaboratively with other academies in our FFET family, allowing our students and staff many opportunities to develop themselves.  This is embodied in the FFET and College vision: Social Justice through Excellence in Education.

We have a modern, state of the art building, which uses new technologies to support and enrich the learning experience and curriculum. This rich combination ensures that we are able to prepare all our students for the challenges of the future.

The Ellesmere Port C of E College is looking to appoint a Maths Lead Practitioner who will work closely with Senior Leadership and colleagues throughout the department, to drive continuing improvement in students’ progress, as well as the quality of Teaching and Learning within maths.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner who can demonstrate experience of raising attainment in maths across all Key Stages.  You will have a proven track record of success in the classroom and demonstrate high aspirations for the future.

You will be a dedicated, talented and enthusiastic individual who is looking for the next step in your career.  You will be passionate about Teaching and Learning and developing pedagogical approaches that inspire learners.  The ability to be a highly successful team player in a very busy and fast-paced environment is essential.  You will have the capacity and energy to drive improvement, to lead by example and to develop collaboration within the department.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to work closely with leaders to demonstrate their ability to champion the College’s development and to be part of our challenging, but rewarding, journey towards improvement.
