City of London Academy Highgate Hill, opened as a mixed, all-ability, non-denominational academy in September 2017, and is housed in a lovely building with excellent facilities for students, staff and the community. With the support of our enthusiastic students, diligent staff, supportive parents and cohesive governing body, we strive to provide a calm and purposeful learning environment underpinned by high expectations.

We are seeking a Maths One to One Teacher to join us in January 2022 to deliver one to one numeracy tuition to students. This will be on a permanent, part time basis, the days for which are negotiable and for 3 - 5 days per week. As a member of our staff you will be instrumental in laying the foundation of outstanding standards of education and creating a stimulating and purposeful environment where our pupils can make excellent progress. It is essential for candidates to be able to teach Mathematics at KS3 and KS4. You should have a degree and have Qualified teacher status. You must be able to provide high quality teaching to students of all ages and abilities. You must have the ability to use ICT effectively and the ability to use ICT to raise achievement. 

You will have high expectations, a commitment to raising standards of attainment and up-to-date knowledge of teaching and behaviour management strategies. We are seeking passionate and driven individuals with good communication and organisational skills and a desire to make a difference to the lives of our pupils and their communities
