Maths/Science Tutor (2 posts)

For this role, some of the duties will be to:

  • Work with Key Stage 4 Raising Achievement leader to provide 1-2-1 and small group tuition for identified students.
  • Work with subject teachers to develop and implement appropriate intervention programmes to support students to know and remember more.
  • Report on students’ progress and keep relevant teachers’ updated.
  • Follow up and address barriers to achievement for identified students, working with year team to ensure action is taken to maximise engagement.
  • Monitor student progress including using MIS (BromCom) and other data sources to monitor attendance, punctuality, academic achievement, and destinations.
  • Keep accurate records of all instances of support to allow for college funding to be accurately monitored and claimed.

Hours: 16 hours per week, term time only (exact hours are negotiable and may include up to 4 hours on a Saturday morning)
