Our vision is to create a vibrant, engaging, and safe learning community. We provide a warm and welcoming environment founded on trust, rapport, and expertise. In practice, this means:
- Young people feel excited to come to school each day and take pride in their achievements.
- Parents and carers can be confident that their young people are safe, happy, and making strong progress.
- Each pupil receives the tailored support and challenges needed to succeed, both at school and beyond.
- Our staff are dedicated to creating positive learning experiences that engage and inspire all pupils.
What sets us apart from other schools
At New Ways School, we believe in offering every pupil a fresh start. This is a chance to turn previous negative experiences of education into positive ones. Our experienced educational staff provide targeted strategies, support, and solutions to address some of the most challenging behaviours and learning needs young people face.
Pupils
New Ways School is dedicated to pupils with Special Educational Needs, including ASD, ADHD, conduct disorders, attachment difficulties, global developmental delay, and moderate learning difficulties (MLDs). We use a therapeutic approach to help young people understand themselves, connect with others who have similar needs, and navigate the wider community. We also work closely with external agencies, including CAMHS, occupational therapists, educational psychologists, social workers, and Barnardo's, to further support our pupils’ well-being.
