About New Ways School
New Ways is an Outstanding Independent SEN School with two locations. Our KS3 students are based at our South Birmingham site (B38), while KS4 and KS5 students attend our college site in North Worcestershire (B60).
We cater to students aged 11-19 with special educational needs, primarily related to Autism.
Our school provides a safe, low-sensory environment alongside an ambitious curriculum that includes a range of GCSEs and enrichment opportunities.
We are committed to ensuring that all students achieve the best possible outcomes and are fully prepared for their transition into further education, employment, training, and adulthood.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and teach lessons to small groups and individuals
Prepare materials, take registers, and write reports
Support students’ confidence and independence
Manage behaviour, mark work, and communicate with parents/carers
Requirements
Committed and passionate about supporting students with SEND
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a SEND setting or similar provision
QTS/QTLS qualification
