Specifically, we offer a wide range of therapeutic and alternative education services to young people across the Greater Manchester area. This is an exceptional prospect for an ambitious, values-driven leader to shape a new provision from the ground up.

 

About the Role                                                               

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Maths Teacher to join our specialist SEMH/SEND provision. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality KS4 Maths, inclusive of Functional Skills Maths and GCSE Maths. Working closely with the Head of School and wider multidisciplinary team, you will help embed our therapeutic ethos, relational practice, and commitment to inclusive, aspirational education for every learner.

 

The successful candidate will:

• Deliver engaging, well-sequenced mathematics lessons that develop numeracy, reasoning and problem-solving skills while building confidence in mathematics

• Personalise learning to meet the needs of pupils with SEND/SEMH, ensuring progress from each learner’s starting point

• Promote outstanding safeguarding, behaviour and wellbeing through consistent relational practice

• Use assessment, data and evidence-informed strategies to close gaps and raise achievement in mathematics

• Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, families, external agencies and colleagues

• Contribute to a mathematics curriculum that is ambitious, accessible and responsive to the needs of our learners

 

About You

We welcome applications from teachers with experience in specialist SEMH/therapeutic settings, AP, or with SEND experience from mainstream. Above all, you will share our values, our passion for inclusion, and our belief that every learner can thrive with the right support. Candidates must have full UK driving license and be able to transport students.
