Thomas Tallis is a flourishing and popular school situated in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. We currently have over 2000 pupils on the school roll with around 750 students in our highly competitive sixth form. We strive for excellence in all that we do underpinned by our vision of education to understand the world and change it for the better.

We wish to appoint a first class Maths Teacher to join a well-established, well-resourced and successful faculty. Ideally we are looking for someone who is able to teach maths across Key Stages 3, 4 and ideally 5. The faculty employs a range of dynamic learning styles and is committed to innovative and creative curriculum development. You will be part of a strong maths department with excellent support and facilities.

ECTs are very welcome to apply and will receive a full induction programme with the support and guidance of senior members of staff.

  • is passionate about maths with the ability to inspire students
  • can demonstrate excellent teaching and classroom management skills
  • has the ability to build good relationships with all students and adult
  • has a commitment to developing curriculum activities within the Maths department

Located in Kidbrooke, south-east London, Thomas Tallis School is a large co-educational secondary school providing places to pupils aged 11-18. The school was originally founded in 1971. In 2012 it moved into a brand-new purpose-built building on the site of a former airfield. 

With capacity for around 2,000 students, Thomas Tallis is larger than the average secondary school. It operates a large sixth form, welcoming students who have come up through Thomas Tallis School, as well as pupils from other schools in the local area.
