An outstanding, independent school in Camden (NW3), is recruiting for a dedicated Maths Teacher / Head of Maths to join their cohort of friendly staff. The school offers education to boys aged 4 to 13 and has recently received excellent outcomes in their 2016 inspection by the Independent Schools Inspectorate. The successful Maths Teacher / Head of Maths will join the school from January 2017 on a full time, long term basis for a minimum of 1 term with the potential to go permanent. The Maths Teacher / Head of Maths salary will be based on an inner London Main Pay Scale dependent on experience which will include appropriate TLR.

In order to be considered for this Maths Teacher role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a Bachelor, PGCE or equivalent, relevant teaching degree
  • Have proven UK based experience teaching Maths to middle school
  • Newly Qualified Teachers and overseas candidates are welcome to apply
  • Experience/knowledge of Common Entrance exams desirable
  • Independent experience preferred
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa) 
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
