Brand new school in Hinckley

As a Teacher at one of our Schools, you'll get to deliver the kind of education you've always wanted to. As a brand new specialist SEN school, we’re starting as we mean to go on. You’ll have superb leadership, specialist support and state-of-the-art-facilities, allowing you to focus on delivering the National Curriculum to a group of primary and secondary aged pupils in a memorable way. Committed to fulfilling the potential of each and every one of our students, no matter what their educational needs (including emotional and social difficulties, autistic spectrum conditions and speech and language communication difficulties), you share our belief that all young people are capable of achieving great things.

This is why we’re only interested in hearing from superb classroom practitioners. Those who take the National Curriculum and bring it alive in a way that’s meaningful and engaging to our students. Ideally you’ll have experience of dealing with complex education needs, as you’ll need to connect with our students – understanding what makes them unique and working to make a real difference to their social and emotional development. But none of this fazes you, as it’s what you’re passionate about. And why you’ll fit right in.

Like all of our schools, our new one in Hinckley will offer state of the art learning resources and well equipped environments. Students will be supported in small class sizes, by well qualified and experienced staff who are able to offer an extensive range of academic, practical, vocational, sport and leisure activities, to support both a young person’s educational achievements and social and communication skills.

For children and young people with complex, challenging needs, the level of care and education must go above and beyond. That’s what drives us, here at Witherslack Group. We are a leading provider of specialist education and care for children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, communication difficulties, complex learning needs and challenging behaviours. We have a reputation for excellence and of achieving the highest possible outcomes. In short, we’re enhancing life opportunities.

Our brand new School in Hinckley is an independent day school catering for 35 young people with SEMH and complex needs
