Maths Teacher

Lampton School is a mixed, over-subscribed, multi-ethnic 11-18 school. It was judged as "Outstanding" in all categories by Ofsted in May 2008 and again in May 2013. We are the lead school for the London West Alliance and a SCITT. As a member of the Hounslow Education Partnership, we can offer staff excellent opportunities for professional learning and career progression.

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Maths to join our creative and innovative maths department which is highly successful both in terms of attainment and progress. Our progress score for maths in 2022 was 1.0 which is significantly above national outcomes.

Applications are welcome from experienced and newly qualified teachers able to teach Maths throughout the ability range at KS3, KS4 and KS5. Excellent support is available from a very experienced team.

Maths is extremely popular in the Sixth Form, where A level Maths, A level Further Maths and AS Mathematical Studies are delivered. Maths is taught in sets to from Year 7 to GCSE. The department is involved in an innovative STEM collaboration with the science department to align teaching approaches of shared content across their Schemes of Work. The department also contributes to our outreach work, supporting and collaborating with other schools.
