An outstanding SEN school located in Kings Heath is searching for a Teacher who is passionate about mathematics and looking for an opportunity to make a difference in young people’s lives. This school provides a personalised learning programme for its students, delivered by highly motivated staff. You will be responsible for helping identify students for intervention, highlighting specific needs and monitoring them.
You will need to consistently assess the progress and development of your students, ensuring that they are attaining their full potential. You will be expected to deliver a range of programmes to small groups of students with SEMH difficulties, 11 to 19 years of age. We are looking for a role model to the students, with the ability to motivate and inspire further progression. This is a full time long term role that will begin in September 2016.

• In date DBS & on the Update Service
What to do next:
To be considered for this position you will be required to attend a face to face registration and hold an enhanced DBS check in Child and Adult Workforce; you will need to pay for this upfront and add this to the Update Service. At the registration we will discuss in more detail the work that you are looking for, your experience to date, and also how we are going to work best for you.
We will need to gain references to cover the last 2 years, and a minimum of 2 references must be a school based. Our compliance team have a rigorous safeguarding and clearance process and this is how we know we are working with the best possible team of staff to employ in our schools.
