Job Title:  Maths Teacher

Location:  Groveside School, Reading, Berkshire

Salary:   Up to £40,000 per annum 

Hours:    37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

Are you a Maths Teacher looking to enhance your career in Special Education? 

We are excited to introduce a Brand-New School, Groveside School in Reading, Berkshire, due to open in September 2024.

We are looking for a Maths Teacher to join our team in the new academic year. Groveside School will have capacity for 60 pupils between 7 to 16 years old with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs.

We are looking for a Maths Teacher to join our team in September 2024. 

Purpose of the Job

To further enhance and develop the curriculum to meet the needs of all students giving them the most relevant skills and knowledge to succeed. To secure high quality teaching, effective use of resources and improve standards of learning and achievement for all pupils in consultation with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team.

  • To teach and provide effective delivery of the Maths curriculum in consultation with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team
  • To monitor, record and report on student progress
  • To contribute to and help implement developments that relate to the School Development Plan
