About the Role:

We're seeking a Maths Teacher with the possibility of additional responsibility to meet the exceptional demand for our services.

As a Maths Teacher at Yarrow Heights School, you will play a vital role in fostering mathematical literacy and confidence among students from Key Stage 2 (KS2) to Key Stage 4 (KS4). Your primary purpose will be to create an engaging and supportive learning environment where pupils of all abilities can develop their mathematical skills, critical thinking abilities, and problem-solving techniques.

About Us:

Yarrow Heights School is a mixed 7-16, local authority funded, SEN day school for children, most of who are able learners children with ASC.

At Yarrow Heights every pupil is valued and treated as an individual and with respect. We are a team with extensive experience and expertise in special education and therapeutic support for pupils whose needs can no longer be met in a mainstream provision. Job Details:

Full-time.

Salary: £40,000 to £47,000 DOE

Location: Southampton, SO18 1FS.

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience: Teaching experience in mainstream and/or SEN secondary schools.

Certification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required; Newly qualified teachers welcome to apply.
