About the role
Our Mathematics department is a dynamic and forward-thinking team committed to a mastery approach to learning in KS3 and 4, ensuring students develop a deep and lasting understanding of mathematical concepts. We have high academic expectations and outcomes, consistently achieving excellent results across all key stages, with 41% of our IGCSE maths students achieving the top grades of 8 or 9 last year. We offer a broad and challenging curriculum, including IGCSE, International A level, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).
As a department, we continuously reflect on and develop our curriculum with the aim of turning our students into successful learners of mathematics - equipping them with the reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical skills required to excel in Key Stage 5, further studies and beyond. We believe in fostering curiosity, resilience, and a deep appreciation for the subject through delivery of highly effective and engaging lessons and extra-curricular opportunities.

Who we are looking for:
We are therefore seeking an enthusiastic and high-quality Mathematics Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will:
- Be able to teach Mathematics across all Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, (including IGCSE, A-Level, and/or IBDP, depending on experience).
- Be a university graduate and qualified with UK approved PGCE or international equivalent.
- Inspire students to achieve their full potential through planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons.
- Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning and academic outcomes.
