Corley Centre is a secondary special school for children with complex social and communication difficulties. A significant number of students have an autism diagnosis. Students present with a range of needs, vulnerabilities, challenges and behaviours. Student attainment covers the full National Curriculum and GCSE range.

We are seeking a highly driven and creative specialist Maths teacher to work alongside our Maths Curriculum Leader to deliver the subject throughout the school and across the full ability range, ensuring that students maximise their potential at GCSE level.

Training in autism education will be provided and will supplement the successful candidate’s ability to engage young people in Maths through exciting, fun, practical learning activities, enthusing them to want to become mathematical problem solvers.

They will be required to promote a collaborative team approach to further develop a dynamic department, where students extend their abilities as a result of high quality staff input.
