Crisp Vocational Provision is a leading alternative provision in Nottingham, dedicated to providing high-quality vocational training for key stage 3 and key stage 4 students. We are currently seeking a Maths Tutor to join our team on a permanent basis.


Position: Maths Tutor

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 37.5pw (8:30-4:30 M-F, term time only)


Skills and Qualifications:

- GCSE Maths (grade C/4 or above) or equivalent

- Ability to build effective working relationships

- Excellent communication skills

- Willingness to undertake CPD relevant to AP, behaviour and SEND

Located in Bulwell, Nottingham the provision offers young people the opportunity to participate in personalised learning sessions, which are tailored to the specific needs of the young person and their School.

Small group sizes provide the learners with a unique learning experience, which allows them to carry out practical activities in a safe working environment. The learners are under close supervision enabling them to develop their skills within the Construction, Sports, Creative Media (Including E-Sports and music), PSHE, Catering and the Motor Industry. A Functional Skills Programme can be added to the learners curriculum to support with the English and Maths development. 

Pathways include long term and short term placements which are accredited through IMI or BTEC . Courses offered to year 8 through to year 11.

The provision also offers weekly enrichment sessions to promote positive behaviour and progression. Additionally a Preparing for Work Programme is embedded into the curriculum.
